Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe Xbox 360 Character Guide: Shao Kahn

Shao Kahn is an unlockable player that you get from finishing the Mortal Kombat Story in single player mode, which isn't the greatest challenge, but does require time and patience to accomplish. Once you have defeated the single player mode select him on the character select screen by pressing RB (on the Xbox 360) or R1 (on the Playstation 3). You will notice when you look below that Shao Kahn has no fatalities, no worry he's still one of the toughest and strongest characters in the game. You need to be aggressive with Shao Kahn and keep the pressure on, Shao Kahn's best attacks are Shoulder Charge and Rising Emperor, but use Krush as a opening to combo into Choke for a decent 24% damage. Use his pop-up attacks, Overhead Smash and Krazy Axe, and then combo into Dark Void and Rising Emperor to finish an opponent. Anyone who was familiar with the old Sega version of Mortal Kombat will remember and love Shao Kahn, and those who fought against him will hate him. Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe utilizes four attack buttons, identified in the game (and also in this guide) as Attacks 1, 2, 3, and 4. The following table lists which button corresponds to each attack on both the Xbox 360 console and the Playstation 3 console. The button combinations for the Xbox will be listed first and the PS3 button combinations second below.

• Attack 1 -- X or square
• Attack 2 -- Y or triangle
• Attack 3 -- A or X
• Attack 4 -- B or circle
• Block -- RT or R2
• Throw -- LB or L1
• Klose Kombat -- RB or R1
• Rage -- LT + RT or L2 + R2
