Playstation 3 Cheats & Trophies for the Guitar Hero – Metallica

Coming March 29, 2009 to North America, the latest installment to the Guitar Hero series, Guitar Hero Metallica, will hit the XBOX 360, Wii, and the Playstation 3 console. This music playing game has single player and multiplayer modes, and is played just like all the other Guitar Hero games, just with a different playlist. It has an ESRB rating of T for Teen.

There are 49 songs on this upcoming Playstation 3 console game. Metallica songs account for 28 of them and the rest are from bands that they say were their influences and favorites. Guitar Hero III and Guitar Hero World tour songs will not be able to be used with this particular title. There will be some DLC (downloadable content) available for use with this Playstation 3 title.

These are the Playstation 3 console trophies that you are able to earn from the game, in order of the easiest to the most difficult. They are categorized by Bronze, Silver, Gold, and the ultimate trophy of Platinum.

• The More I See – You will need to finish all the tutorials.
• Kirk Hammett – You’ll need to finish the guitarist career.
• Robert Trujilo – You must finish the bassist career.
• James Hetfield – You’ll have to finish the vocalist career.
• Lars Ulrich – You’ll have to finish the drummer career.
• One – On hard or expert in local Quickplay or Career mode, finish a song with any instrument.
• Ride the Lightning – In a four player band, have all the band members trigger star power simultaneously.
• 2X4 – In a four player band, earn a band hot streak.
• The Struggle Within – With four players, finish a song in a career or quickplay band.
• Better Than You – Win an online pro faceoff match.
• The Four Horsemen – In a four player band, finish a song with all the band members on expert while in career or quickplay.
• Blitzkrieg – With eight players, win a Band vs. Band match while online.
• Seek and Destroy – Play in 20 online matches.
• The Unforgiven – Win one of the online faceoff matches.
• Reload – From GHTunes, download a song.
• Hero of the Day – In drums only, finish a song on expert and in either career or quickplay.
• Damage Inc – You just need to be the drummer.
• Motorbreath – You will need to be the vocalist.
• Invisible Kid – You will need to be the bassist.
• Some Kind of Monster – You will need to be the guitarist.
• Master of Puppets – In a four player band, get the highest individual score on a song in a band.
• Black – With the Fade to Black power up, win an online battle match.
• The Unforgiven II – In an online faceoff match, win by 25,000 or more points.
• The Unforgiven III – In an online pro faceoff match, win by 25,000 or more points.
• Cure – In quickplay or career, recover from a poor performance.
• Disposable Heroes – Make a new custom rocker.
• Blackened – Make a new custom tattoo.
• Eye of the Beholder – Make a new custom band logo.
• The House Jack Built – In every In the Round venue, finish a song.
• Fixxxer – Make a custom instrument. Guitar, Drums, Mic.
• Trapped Under Ice – Finish a song at the Ice Cave venue.
• Stone Dead Forever – Finish a song at the Stone venue.
• King Diamond – You will need to rock out as King Diamond.
• Lemmy – You need to rock out as Lemmy.
• Astronomy – In the song Orion, hit every star phrase.
• Wherever I may Roam – Finish a song in every venue.
• The Memory Remains – You need to view a metalifacts video.

• The Ecstasy of Gold – You need to earn $15,000
• …And Justice for All – In Band Career or any single instrument career, earn 100 stars.
• Metallica – On Expert, with guitar, bass, vocals, drums or band, finish an instrument career.
• Metal Militia – In a four player band, 100% a song.
• Nothing Else Matters – In a two to four player band, finish the career in the band.
• Green Hell – With the rock meter in green, drum every green note and finish the song Blood and Thunder.
• Creeping Death – On the song Creeping Death as the guitar, Score 575,000.
• Dyer’s Eve – On the song Dyer’s Eve as the drummer, score 450,000.
• Fight Fire With Fire – On the song Fight Fire with Fire as the bassist, Score 340,000.
• Stone Cold Crazy – On the song Stone Cold Crazy as the vocalist, score 65,000.
• Enter Sandman – On the song Enter Sandman on guitar, score 330,000.
• Battery – On the song Battery as a four player band, score 1,000,000.

Holier Than Thou – Finish all instrument careers.

Platinum Artist – In Guitar Hero Metallica, just earn all the other trophies and you will earn this trophy.
