With an awesome selection of killer weapons and compelling multiplayer mode that keeps you coming back for more, Killzone 2 should keep PS3 gamers busy for quite some time. Use this guide to easily pick up all the Killzone 2 trophies as you slaughter your way through the Helghast army.
Level Completion Trophies
Eight bronze trophies are earned simply by working your way through the game’s levels. The “Corinth Ribbon” trophy is the reward for finishing the Corinth River level on any difficulty level. Earn the “Blood Ribbon” trophy by completing Blood Meridian on any difficulty. “Visari Ribbon” and “Salamun Ribbon” are earned by completing the Visari Square and Salamun District levels. Get the “Bridge Ribbon” trophy for completing Salamun Bridge and the “Suljeva Ribbon” for completing the Suljeva Village level on any difficulty. Finish the Tharsis Refinery level to earn the “Tharsis Ribbon” and The Cruiser to receive the “Cruiser Ribbon.”
Complete each of the game’s missions without dying to earn the “Untouchable” trophy.
Kill Total Trophies
Get the “Pallbearer” trophy for killing 20 Helghast soldiers, the “Undertaker” trophy for killing 200 Helghast, and the “Reaper” trophy after you’ve disposed of 1000 total Helghast soldiers.
Collection Trophies
The “Popcorn Ribbon” trophy is awarded after watching all of the game’s cut scenes. Collect all the intel in the game to earn the “Field Agent” trophy and destroy all Helghast symbols to earn the “Iconoclast” trophy.
Battle Trophies
Earn the “Babysitter” trophy by reviving a total of 25 fallen buddies. The “Safari Hunter” trophy is the reward for killing one of each enemy type with a melee attack. Earn the “Killing Spree” trophy by killing 5 Helghast in 15 seconds while on foot without allowing your health to dip below 85 percent. The “Bullet Counter” trophy is your reward when you manually reload 150 total times and the “Safety First” trophy is granted to those who shoot off a total of 100 Helghast helmets.
Individual Weapon Trophies
The “Berserker” trophy comes after defeating 25 Helghast with melee attacks. Kill 2 Helghast at once utilizing only the environment for the “Barrel of Death” trophy. Get the “Profesional” trophy when you get 3 headshots in a row with the M4 Revolver. “Fragmerchant” is the trophy awarded to those who kill 3 Helghast simultaneously with a single frag grenade. To get the “Fragmartyr” badge, simultaneously kill 2 Helghast and yourself.
Get 15 headshots with the PR-6 sniper rifle to earn the “Melonpopper” trophy. If you want the “Blade Runner” trophy, you will need to kill 10 Helghast with your knife. The “Run and Gunner” trophy is the reward for killing 3 Helghast with a single burst from the M82 or StA52 assault rifle. Finally, earn the “Defensive Fighter” badge by killing a total of 30 Helghast with emplaced weapons.
