Coming in January of 2009, Afro Samurai will be on the PS3 and Xbox 360. New from Namco Bandai Games’ western label of Surge, it will be voiced (as was the anime program) by Samuel L Jackson. It is described as a samurai hack and slash. Those that are going to get it on the Xbox 360 can look forward to the achievement titles below, and the associated gamerscore points.
5 Gamerscore Point Achievements
- Two Birds One Sword – You’ll have to slice up two enemies at one time.
- Three Way – Slice up three enemies at one time.
- And So It Begins – Finish “Prelude”.
- The Child Without a Name – Find and gather 5 mementos in “The Daimyo’s Story”
- Afro Samurai – You need to gather 5 mementos in “School Invasion”
- The Demon of Vengeance – Gather up 5 mementos in “Okiku’s Story”
- The Number Two – Gather up 5 mementos in “The Lowdown East Pass”
- The Death Bringer – Collect 5 mementos in “The Doggleganger”
- Widow Maker – Gather up 5 mementos in “Kuma’s Story”
- The Samurai Ghost – Gather up 5 mementos in “The Empty Seven’s Story”
- Meijin – Get 100 kills.
- Closer to God – Using a vertical attack with a bonus, slice an enemy.
- Made Hand Ronin – Finish a Ronin Straight Flush.
- Mash Medley – Get a 20 hit combo
- Slow Your roll – During an enemy attack, slice them.
- Hats Off to You – Slice off a head with a bonus.
- F*!# Gravity – While in the air, slice an enemy
10 Gamerscore Point Achievements
- A Secret History – You must finish “The Daimyo’s Story” for this title.
- This Little Piggy – At the same time, slice off fingers and toes.
- Give Me a Hand – Slice off the hand of your enemy.
- No Limit Ninjas – You will need to finish a ninja straight flush.
- Kunoichi Suicide Queens – Finish a kunoichi straight flush.
- I am Rubber – You will need to kill with a reflected bullet one of your enemies.
- You Are Glue – You’ll need to kill with a sliced bullet one of your enemies.
- Ashigaru – You have to unlock 10 skills.
- Hip Hop – You need to slice off an opponent’s foot.
- Four to the Floor – You need to cut four foes at one time.
15 Gamerscore Point Achievements
- The Death of Innocence – Finish “School Invasion”
- Gutshot Android Straight – Finish an android straight flush.
- Let It Flow – Spill 2,000 gallons of blood.
- Torso From Tail – Slice up 50 enemy bellies.
20 Gamerscore Point Achievements
- The Price for Vengeance – Finish “Sword Master’s Story”.
- Hatamoto – You have to unlock 25 skills for this title.
- Kengo – Go and achieve 1,000 kills.
- Hundred Head Hunter – With a bonus, slice off 100 heads.
- Rhythm Section – You need to do a grand total of 3,000 combos.
25 Gamerscore Point Achievements
- Love Lost – Finish “Okiku’s Story”
- Head to Toe – Slice up 50 of your enemies with a vertical attack with a bonus.
- Off Suit Samurai – You need to finish a samurai straight flush.
30-50 Gamerscore Point Achievements
- The Path to Godhood – Finish “The Lowdown East Pass”, it is for 30 gamerscore points.
- Copy – Cat Killer – You will need to finish the “Doppleganger” for this and 35 gamerscore points.
- The Past Laid to Rest – For 40 gamerscore points, finish “Kuma’s Story”.
- Kensei – This is for getting 2,000 kills. It gives 50 gamerscore points.
- Bushi – This is for 30 gamerscore points and it will be for unlocking 40 skills.
- All That Stood Are Gone – Worth 45 gamerscore points, it can be received from finishing “The Empty Seven’s Story”.
- Revenge Served – Finish “Justice’s Story” for this and 50 gamerscore points.
100-200 Gamerscore Point Achievements
- Completionist – This is for finishing the game on both of the difficulty levels and is worth 200 gamerscore points.
- The Number One – Unlock all the skills in the game for this and 100 gamerscore points.
