When you think of rock bands, you probably think of touring the world and making some great music. The last thing that you might think is that there is a way that you can do it in an afternoon of gaming.

Rock Band

Rock Band is a great game that puts you in the middle of the action with your friends playing with you or all on your own. You will travel though the game to many places playing venues that are fun and funky.

The Instruments

There only four instruments that you need to worry about mastering so that you can get the best out of this fun game. The fist one is the microphone.

The mic part of the game is fun for even the most unexperienced player, because you only have to hit the pitch that works for the game. You can see all of your notes and how close you are getting to the right pitch on the games screen.

Drums are the backbone of any band, but in Rock Band it is also one of the most fun things to play. The drums are built as four round plates on a stand with a color around each one. They represent the notes on the game as well as the beats that you will have to play. The fifth note is the bass foot pedal that is included on the game's drum stand.

The guitar is of course one of the most important instruments that you will see in the game. It doubles as a bass when you want to play something different. It is set up like a traditional guitar except there are colored buttons that you push while playing the game rather than strings. You also will strum a plastic bar as though you were playing a real guitar.

The Songs

There are some great songs that are included in the game and you will probably recognize some of them while others might be a new sound for you to master. They are almost all covers of the originals and can sound a bit different than what you might be used to.

The Rock Band game is one that you will have great fun with on your own or with a group of friends. So why not get them all together and rock out for a night of fun and great music.
