Betty Malone is a dedicated life long learner who seeks to empower learners to seize the day, to seek their own path to life success and happiness. She does not believe that learning and education are merely interchangeable. She believes that teachers cannot just pour education into empty vessels, but must consider the Power of Story to transform lives and empower learning.
Betty is a successful self taught theater coach and director. Her company, Creative Dramatics, offers theatre classes, and on stage productions for students age 5 to senior citizen. As a semi-retired long term care advocate and activity director, she has switched her career focus to how children and adults learn and to create Power of Story opportunities for alternative learning via theater, storytelling, literature and history.
As a long time homeschool educator, Betty Malone designs individual curriculums and lesson plans to fit students learning styles and to engage students in group learning opportunities. Writing lesson plans that can be adapted for school or homeschool and that will excite the student and the teacher or leader is an exciting challenge.
