The value of getting the most from your money has been instilled in me from a very young age. I have enjoyed the art of money since I was a child. This love of economics drove me to pursue my master’s degree in the field.
I am fascinated by all areas of economics but am particularly intrigued by anything related to our ever flattening world and how all countries interact with each other in this new global economy. While globalization has helped to create corporate superpowers the likes of which the world has never seen, it has also leveled the playing field for individuals all over the world and enabled them to claim their own piece of the pie.
In this knowledge economy much of the power still goes to those that know the right people. However, we are now at a point in history, largely due to the Internet, where endless knowledge is at everyone’s fingertips equally, and for those diligent few that take advantage of it, great success may now be attained much more rapidly by those that simply know the right things.
My father once told me that you gain knowledge by acquiring knowledge, but you gain wisdom by sharing knowledge. This fact is what drew me to Bright Hub as it is a shining example of this power of information that I want to be a part of. I hope to be able to share at least a little bit of what I have learned to help others take advantage of the incredible financial opportunities that are open to each one of us today.
