Presto VideoWorks 6 Platinum - More Oldie Than Goodie
Presto! VideoWorks 6 Platinum seemed dated when I set it up. But so am I, along with some of my favorite software apps. I was hoping the four year lapse in updates meant that it was rock-solid, performed its designated tasks well, and that it ran on older and newer Windows systems alike. Not quite.

When I received CrazyTalk 4.5 to review, I thought the "crazy" was for its high price. A specialty app that only does digital face manipulations couldn't be worth that price. A week later, as I wrapped up my CrazyTalk 4.5 review, I gave it a five star rating. I like software that does its job well.

Art Explosion 800,000 - All Those Files and No Search?
For $90, I expect a lot of art and a quality program to access and find them. This package delivers well on the art but disappoints on the application, with the huge omission of a search function.

Fx Audio Editor - Seriously Underwhelms
Fx Audio Editor is an audio editing utility that, despite providing all the classic features of such a tool, is not on par with other software options in its price class.
