Sorry I had surgery
Long story short, I was pregnant, miscarried, dr. said my #'s were out of whack, feared cancer, did laproscopic surgery...came back with endo 4...have been unable to get pregnant since (and this is 5 years later)...they threw me into early menapause with some outrageously expensive drug w/o success to get the "endo under control" (ha, I had no pain BEFORE surgery...)...I think I would have been much better of w/o surgery and the menapausal drug. I have no children and think the dr's screwed up my chance ...I'm now 40 and my childbearing years are pretty much gone!

My only advice for those sufferers that want children is to explore "other" methods before going with surgery and drugs...

endeometriosis
I am 22 and I have had endeometriosis since I was 17. It has been hell and I have found that I can not hold down a job because some does I am fine and others, my period pain is so bad, I either pass out, cry myself to sleep or simply try to pop every pill I have. It is s hard... I never know when it is going to bad... a little bit of stress and I am so bad that I fear the idea of going to the toilet. I have been mis diagnosed 3 times and it wasn't until I demanded that there was something wrong that someone took notice. I have heard bad things about the operation so I am not going to have it... I tried Chaste Tree tablets which are not only expensive but also just a placebo and now I have it bad... I have no idea what to do... I need help. A tablet or something.

chinese herb for endometriosis, bleeding, pain and fertility
To anyone with endometriosis - please, please consider seeing a herbalist trained in the chinese system. The diagnosis takes into account your whole system and aims at balancing it's functions and supporting the whole system. It is successful at addressing pain, heavy bleeding and can prepare the body for conception and pregnancy.
It is scary how many drugs and how much surgery goes on without much safer and successful methods even being considered... Don't loose hope - if you haven't checked this out, you still have a good chance of improving your condition.
Most practitioners of chinese herbs also practice acupuncture and this is extremely supportive of the body and soul as it regains balance, so I really encourage the two to be used in conjunction as this condition (like many gynae problems) has a strong emotional element that it is important to acknowledge and support. All the best.

painful endometriosis
I ve been experiencing severe pain the last 3-4 years. last year tried treatment that did not work and had my uterus removed in April .08.
Pain started again in December .08 and is still continuing. It is more severe now. as it has spread to my overies and between my virginal walls and bladder. I must now have another operation inconjuction with the zoladex injection. Sometimes it is so bad I can hardly move. It is so frustrating and it affects you whole life. I cannot make love to my husband , when passing urine or have bowel movements it is is so painful that sometimes delay going. Allot of people do not understand and that makes it even worse. Thank God that i have a very good gynaecologist who has been very understanding and doing the best he can. Thank God for my husband who stands by me and pray for me.

I have been reading the info on Endometrios--I am 76 years old & having pain in this region & lower bowel area--could this be a consideration for this ailment? Thank you-T. Reynolds
