Pain & Cysts!!!!!!!!!
For the past 3 years I have been having endless problems with my womb and ovaries etc. I have been up and down to doctors who always do scans and pick up cysts. I have been placed on birth control pills, patches and tablets, and my syptoms just come back. I went to gynae last week and was told that I could possibly have endometriosis but the only way to be 100% is to place a camera through my naval, that procedure costs R15000.00!!! I do not have that kind of money. I have severe pains during intercourse that I battle to walk sometimes, very abnormal bleeding cycles, and very sore period pains. I also suffer with nausea at times as well as dizziness, but the strangest of all is that I have constant back pain that refuses to go away. I also have bad mood swings that I cannot control, and the people closest to me are the ones who are suffering for it.
I cannot take this much longer and I do not know how to get rid of these bad pains, it is really affecting my life, my husband & my marraige and my children. I do not have the money to go to private doctors that charge the world. What do I do? :(

Severe Nausea with Endo
I have been suffering with severe nausea for about 5 yrs. I visited many dr to find out. It's like a bad Morning sickness everyday from the time I wake and until early evening. I couldn't eat and lost weight. I finally collapsed in the office. When one of my tests revealed that I had fibroids. I asked my OBGY for Hysterectomy. Well not only I had a fibroids, I had Endo, dr said. I had total hyst. After 4 months later, nausea came back again. At this time I have been on estrogen pills. I truly believe that my Endo has spreaded somewhere in my abdomen. I just had CT scan done today. I got off the estrogen pill for a month now. This condition is unbereble becuase it is everyday thing. I just visited local health and wellness center. They believe hormonal imbalance cause Endo and they believe balancing with progestrone and estrogen is the key. Also they suggested me to be on the yeast control diet. I really want to get my health back so that I can enjoy my life. So ladies, please do not lose hope and be strong. Let's get through this and become healthy again. Kerry

My story
I was just told I have endo. I have had pain for years but no insurance so I have just lived with it. I am at a loss for what to do. I could have surgery but I am reading many bad stories about it. My daughter has premature ovarian failure and may need my eggs in a few years so that is another reason for not doing the surgery. Meds aren't helping. I don't know what to do.

I just found out i have endo
I JUST FOUND OUT I HAD ENDO IN JUNE OF 09. I HONESTLY BELIEVE THAT I HAVE HAD IT SINCE I WAS AROUND SEVENTEEN. I WOULD ALWAYS HAVE ABD PAIN BACK THEN, AND PAIN WITH INTERCOURSE. THE DR'S TOLD ME I HAD CYST. I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO GET PREGNANT AT 20. BUT SOON AFTER HAVING MY DAUGHTER I GOT ON THE BIRTH CONTROL DEPO PRIVERA. I BASICALLY STOP HAVING PERIODS SO ALL MY PAIN HAD GONE AWAY. FOUR YEARS LATER I DECIDED TO TRY TO HAVE ANOTHER CHILD SO STOPPED THE BIRTH CONTROL. FIVE MONTHS LATER I WAS CURLED OVER IN PAIN IN AN EMERGENCY ROOM.THE DR'S SAID ITS A CYST,THEN THEY SAID IT ADHESION ON YOUR TUBES. I HAD THE FIRST SURGERY MARCH OF 09. MY DR SAID YOUR LT TUBE IS BLOCKED. SHE SAID I WOULD HAVE A BETTER CHANCE OF BEING PREGNANT IF WE CUT THAT TUBE OUT. SECOND SURGURY IN JUNE. THE TUBE WAS NOT BLOCKED ANYMORE BUT NOW THERE WAS AN ANSWER FOR MY PAIN, ENDO!

Endo, Fibriods,PCOS and IBS + blocked tubes
For the last 3 years I have been su7ffering in silence, 1 year ago, not able to take the pain anymore, i went to my gp, who after several months of complaingreferred me to a gyno at the hospital. since having the original investigation, i have been left in limbo, as i want to have children, so any more surgery can cause more scarring tissue and lead to more endo, as it is the endo is affecting my bowel, bladder and tubes and causing severe pain on a daily basis. does anyone have any advice or reviews on alternative medication

3rd time runner!!
I have been battling Endometriosis for 13 yrs, had a lap. scope @ 18, partial hyst. @ 19 & full hyst @ 27... here I am at 29 and it's back again all around my rectum & colon. My doctor says there is nothing more she can do for me until the pain is too much, then pain management, once that's don't work, Chemo/ Radiation. My question is this, " all of your theories say that once ovaries are rmoved it can not come back; well, it has... now what? What/ where is this disease going to go now? Which type of cancer do I get to look forward to now?" ~Shannon
