The site is designed to allow users to network with other mom business owners while sharing advice, asking questions, and offering encouragment. The site features a discussion forum, interest groups, customizable member pages, blogs, articles, and more. Members can also add each other as friends, making it easy to keep in contact with those who may have a shared interest or common business. AMomEntrepreneur.com also features a different mom business owner each week, providing the possibility for additional exposure for her business and new social networking friends.

When you first arrive at AMomEntrepreneur.com, you will see a navigation bar directly beneath the header graphic. Most of the pages in the navigation bar can be accessed without registering as a member (the exception being "My Page"). The links are labeled well, allowing users to view pages that are of interest to them. Should you decide to register, you can either use the link located at the upper-right section of the screen, or beneath the navigation bar and to the right. These links are adequatly placed, making it easy for new users to register or sign in. If you scroll down on the home page, you will see a list of recent activity of active members. This section is useful for viewing new blog entries, knowing if another member is holding a special promotion, knowing when new members joing, and more.
Once you have registered, you will be provided with a member page, which you are free to customize. From the home page, you can click on "Customize Your Page" in the blue box beneath the navigation bar. You will be brought to a page where you can change the theme and colors of your member page. If you are familiar with cascading style sheets (CSS), you can add your own by clicking on the "Advanced" tab. You can also customize the order in which sections appear on your member page by going to your page and dragging the sections up or down. Each section can be edited by cicking on the "Edit" link on the section you wish to edit.
