Do you forget to back up your work? Have you lost important information because of this? Black Armor is the answer to your problems.

I Like Black Armor!

I've used Black Armor and highly recommend it. Here's why:

Set UpRating Excellent

Setting up Black Armor is simple. Just plug it in to your USB port and Black Armor will get you started right away. You click on what you want to back up from your computer. I selected the C and D drive so that all of my work on my computer is backed up for me. With 160 to 320 GB there is plenty of space to save probably everything you have on your computer. You will be able to set when you want Black Armor to remind you to back up your computer.

Back UpRating Excellent

After you have set up what you want backed up on your computer Black Armor will prompt you to create and enter a password. This password and related encryption technology will allow you to keep all of your data safe and secure. I recommend using a password with letters and numbers, and I don't recommend writing it down anywhere. Try to memorize your password. If you can't you will need to write it down where no one will find it, like somewhere off site. After entering the password, simply click on "back up" and in a few minutes (depending on how much you have on your computer) you will have all of your data saved on the Black Armor hard drive. The product also creates an icon on your tray and reminds you every day to back up your work. It just doesn't get any easier than this!

What's Included

Black Armor comes with everything you will need: the portable, external hard drive, software, USB cable, protective slip, warranty, and guide.

Overall ExperienceRating Excellent

Since I received Maxtor's Black Armor portable hard drive I have been backing up the data on my computer on a regular basis. I am confident with this product enough to know that I will always remember to back up my computer, and that the backups are safe and secure. For even extra security, I unplug the portable hard drive and put it back in its protective slip with its USB cable until the next time I need it to use it. I can even take the hard drive with me if I want to. And even if I lose the hard drive or it is stolen, I will not have to worry about someone else getting my data because it is password protected.
