When you work at home and are trying to get or stay in shape, maintaining your motivation is half the battle. Fortunately, you have one powerful tool sitting right in front of you: your computer. You can browse, download and email your way to a leaner, toner you.
Don't Give Up!

Email Motivation
Let’s start with your Inbox. It is likely that you check your email prior to starting any projects every day. Why not get going from the beginning and find some healthy tips waiting for you on a regular basis? One way is by signing up for newsletters such as Vital Juice Daily, who will send a sweet, delicious tip to you every weekday. Some past newsletters that you might find especially helpful include tips on how to use household items in your workout and exercises that do not require equipment.
If you are following a specific weight loss plan, such as Weight Watchers or South Beach Diet, you might consider joining an email group. These groups can be a treasure trove of recipe ideas, food products to try and tips to help you stay on track. Yahoo Groups has too many groups to count, so there is sure to be one that will suit you. Be forewarned, though. Some of these groups can be quite prolific, which can be great for your fitness motivation but hazardous to your work productivity.
Motivational Downloads
Perhaps you are seeking motivation that is a bit more subliminal. If so, the web is chock-full of hypnosis downloads. For instance, HypnosisDownloads.com offers over five hundred titles with several fitness choices such as Eat Healthy and Exercise Motivation. You can even download them as Mp3s.
Motivational Gadgets
Those of you who use Windows Vista are hopefully familiar with the Windows Sidebar on your desktop. It is the little area on the right side of the desktop. Sidebar displays mini programs, such as clocks or calendars. What you might not be aware of is that you can download even more gadgets for your sidebar. Thoosje.com offers one that delivers a new motivational phrase to your desktop every day. Don’t have Windows Vista? No problem. Softonic.com provides a free download that will create a sidebar on your Windows XP computer.
Now the next time you sit down at your computer, do a little stretching, tighten those abs and prepare to be motivated. Only, don't get so carried away with all the fun and interesting sites, tips and goodies that you don't actually work out - or work!
