First off, select paper recommended by your inkjet printer’s manufacturer. This will help ensure that your documents are printing at the best quality. Of course, feel free to save some money by using store-brand papers when printing documents that do not need to be top-quality. If you have a laser printer, you do not have to worry about the

brand of paper you are using because the printer is designed to produce high-quality prints with any paper.

Inkjet Paper

• Hammermill: Office Depot has recycled paper at 96 brightness for $9.69 per ream. This compares to ultra premium paper at Staples for $9.99 per ream and bright white paper at Quill for $11.62 per ream.
• Hewlett Packard: Both Staples and Office Depot have bright white HP paper for $10.29 per ream. This compares to $10.39 at Quill and $10.99 at OfficeMax.
• Xerox: Extra bright paper at Staples costs $11.99 per ream compared to $12.49 per ream at Office Depot.
• Store Brands: The best deal for a ream of store-brand paper is $7.99 at OfficeMax. This is compared to $7.09 for Office depot brand and $7.99 for Staples brand.

Laser Paper

• Hammermill: You can get a ream of paper at OfficeMax for $7.99. This compares to $8.99 at Staples, Office Depot and Quill.
• Hewlett Packard: A ream of 24lb paper at OfficeMax sells for $9.29. This is compared to $9.79 at Staples, $9.89 at Office Depot and $10.49 at Quill.
