Do you have a sports fan with a home office on your gift list? If so, they might appreciate a sports-themed office gadget. The following are suggested gift ideas for the sports enthusiast.

  1. Mouse pad: Buy them a mouse pad with their favorite team’s picture on it. If you can’t find one, have one made by company who personalizes mouse pads, such as Shutterfly or Snapfish. All you’ll need to do is supply the photo, which can easily be found online.
  2. Helmet desk caddy: These can be easily found online and are great for storing pens, pencils and scissors in. Be sure to locate a helmet for their favorite team!
  3. Sports team-themed stationary: Give them stationary supplies (post-it notes, paper, pens, etc.) with their favorite team's logo on it. If you can’t find any,

there are companies out there who will make some up special for you.

  4. Computer game: Encourage them to take a break by purchasing them a software game based on their favorite sport. Be sure to purchase a game that meets the recipient’s computer requirements.
  5. Cell phone holder: Cell phone holders come in all shapes and themes, including sports-related. I have seen them in the shapes of footballs, golf balls, and basketballs, and I am certain there are many more styles available.
  6. Racecar office chair: Perfect for the NASCAR fan. These chairs are actually designed to look and feel like racecar seats. Be warned though, these chairs do not come cheap!
  7. A calendar: There are many styles of calendars available, from wall hung to desktop. Find one that is dedicated to the recipient’s favorite sport or team. You might even be able to locate one that also provides game-playing tips.
  8. Indoor putting green: For the golf fan, how about an indoor putting green to practice his/her skills on? These greens are designed for indoor use, and can be stored away when not in use.
  9. Bookshelf: Granted, most sports-themed bookshelves that are available on the market are designed
for kids, but you might be able to locate one with a more sophisticated look. Or if you are good with your hands, you might even make one.
  10. File folders: There are some really nice sports-themed file folders available. These are a fun to store documents that need to be kept within view.
