If you decide that you still want a better camera for your business, they usually will run you around $200- $300 for a good one with high mega pixels. The higher the MP the better the photos will be and the easier it will be to get the look that you are going for.
Editing Software
Again you might already have some kind of software on your computer from doing home photography. This will work just as well for your business and there is really no need to get anything new. If you don’t have anything on your computer, you can download some really good free or low cost digital editing systems.
Computer
Most businesses have computer that they use for their work. If you do, then you can add the software to it and get going on your photos. If you don’t there are many low cost computers that you can get for your business. Make sure that when you are looking at the computers that are available to you, that you take into consideration what you will be using it for and what you need it to have as far as memory and graphics.
When you start getting ready to take your photos you will need to think about a few extra things that you might have or might not have around the house. Some of the littlest things can change the way your photo looks and make it not look the way that you want it to.
Lighting
When you are setting up your photo, you need to think about what the lighting will be like. Many times all you need is a regular light with a light box or a simple clear plastic tub to take your photos in. If your products are small, this will work well. If you have larger products, consider taking them outside and using natural light for them. There is really nothing like the natural light that the outdoors can give you.
Set Up
When you are setting up your shot, you need to think about the product. Is it showing what it can do? Is there too much in the shot? Not enough? All of these will make an impact on what your customers think of your product and if they will buy them or not.
Background
Another thing to think about is what the background is going to look like. If you have something that is to bright it will effect the way your product looks and make it not look as well as it would have with a neutral background.
