This is part two of the greeting card tutorial. In this part of the tutorial I will show you how to further customize the card and how to add the text. Once you have your card ready to print, I will show you how to print it. You can also save your card to print later.
You can further customize your card by clicking the mini icons below the greeting card. Those icons represent the other parts of the card. Click an icon to see another part of the card. With some of the cards, you can insert more photos and add text, with other cards, you can only add text. Go ahead and add the photos to the other parts of the cards if it has slots.
Adding Text to your Card
Click the Next button in the middle column. You should be on the Text Properties column. If you are not, click the Text button in the first column. The middle column is where you can change your text options. Drop the boxes down and select the options of your choice. Once you have selected your font options, you can go through the card and add your text.
To add your text, double click a text field. Then type what you want in the field. To change specific text, leave the text selected and change the properties in the middle column. Use the mini icons below the card to go through the card and add the text.
Printing the Greeting Card
Once you have your greeting card created, you can print it. Click the Print button in the first column. Select the number of copies that you want to print and click Print. I always advise that you print one card to start off with to see if the card is like you want it. If the card is right, go ahead and print the other copies that you need.
Saving Your Greeting Card
You can also save the greeting card. Click the Save button in the left column. When the saving options appear in the middle column, you will need to give your card a name and save it.
You can go back and create more greeting cards if you want too. Click the View tab and select the photos that you want to use for the new card. Then click the Create tab and then the greeting card button. Start all over with this tutorial to create a new greeting card.
