In this tutorial I will show you how to create personalized greeting cards using HP Image Zone. You can personalize these greeting cards using your own digital photos. You can create different types of greeting cards like Christmas Cards, Birthday Cards, and Valentines Cards. This is a two part tutorial. In the first part I will show you how to select the card and add your photos. In the second part of the tutorial I will show you how to further customize your card and how to add the text. Open your HP Image Zone program and let it load. Once it loads, you can begin this tutorial.
Selecting the Photos for the Greeting Cards
The first step is to select the photos that you want to use for your greeting card. To select your photos, click the view tab in the program. In the left panel you will see the different folders that are on your computer. Navigate through the folders and find the folder with your photos. Click the folder to select it and you will see the photos that are in that folder on the right side of your program. To select the photos that you want to use, click the box below the photos or you can click the photos to select them.
Selecting the Greeting Card Project
Next, you will need to navigate over to the Create tab. Click the Create tab and click the Greeting Card project button. The next page is where you will select the size paper that you are using for the greeting card. Drop that box down and select the size. Then click the Next button. On the next page, you will need to select the layout for your card. Drop the box down and click the layout that you wish to use. Then click the Next button.
Selecting the Type of Card That You Want to Create
Next, you will need to select the type of greeting card that you want to create. In the middle column you will see the two drop down boxes. Drop those boxes down and select the different themes. Go through the different themes to find the card that you want to create. Once you find the card that you want to create, click it. You will see the preview of your card in the right column.
Adding Your Photo to the Card
Next, you will need to add the photo that you want to use to the card. Click the Next button to go to the photo section of the card. Your photos will be in the bottom panel that you selected at the beginning of this tutorial. Click the photo that you want to use and drag it to the greeting card slot.
