business plan with detailed market analysis and a description of how this business will help the community.
The U.S. Small Business Administration helps the Women’s Business Centers around the country provide grants and other services to women entrepreneurs. The Women’s Business Centers have at least one office in every U.S. state and territory.
The Economic Development Administration, a division of the U.S. Department of Commerce, also aids women entrepreneurs in obtaining grants, loans and other tools for success. Their website provides a wealth of information on various programs, application requirements and other funding opportunities.
SCORE, the Service Corps of Retired Executives, is another excellent source of information on small business grants and loans.
