  • How can we recreate a new continuous timecode on a clip without copying the clip to a tape

Hi, we are experiencing a problem.

We ingest a tape using final cut pro 6.0.6, mac os 10.5.8, g5, with an aja kona lhe device.

We edit the clip, removing some parts, exporting in imx format the final clip after the cuts. When we verify the clip with tektronics device, we see that its vitc timecode is the one present in the old clip, thus non-continuous cause of the cuts.

How can we recreate a new continuous timecode on a clip without copying the clip to a tape ?

    Francesco
