Read below to learn how to create, save, and open a project.

Creating a New Project in Auto Movie Creator

To create a new project, click File > New Project at the top of your program. You can also press CTRL N on your keyboard to create a new project. When you choose to create a new project, all of your settings will go back to the default settings.

Saving a Project in Auto Movie Creator

To save a project, go to the top of your program and click File > Save Project As. When the box opens, type a name in the bottom field for your video and click the Save button. To continue saving your project while you are working, click File > Save Project or press CTRL S on your keyboard.

Opening a Project in Auto Movie Creator

To open a file, click File > Open Project. When the box opens, locate the movie file that you saved. Click the file and click the Open button or double click the file to open it. The program will load your project and you can begin working again.

That’s how you create, save, and open a project in Auto Movie Creator. While working on your projects, it’s a good idea to continue saving your work.
