    Dealing with Hidden Files

If your Windows uninstaller didn't remove all parts of the program, you may have some hidden files or folders still on your computer. This means that you have to individually search for these files, and delete them when you find them. This is labor-intensive, and you may not find everything.

    Third-Party Apps

While this should completely uninstall VideoStudio from your program, you may notice that you still have pieces of this program hiding in your system. If you do, then you can manually go through your computer and Registry and delete these items. But, you may find it easier to use a third-party software program.

There are a number of freeware programs that do this for you. For example, Revo Uninstaller is a freeware program for Windows, and it will locate and remove any files associated with the VideoStudio Pro program. Simply download and run the program.

Follow the onscreen directions for uninstalling your software programs. Each program is different. Generally, you just have to drag and drop the program into the uninstaller, and the program will take it from there. Or, you can tell the program what files to search for, and it will search your entire system until it finds all the components associated with the VideoStudio Pro program. It will prompt you if you want to delete these files and folders. Just hit "Yes" or "OK".

Before you download any freeware program, do a quick search on the file to determine if it is legitimate. If you download a program from an untrusted website, then you run the risk of getting attacked by a hacker or a virus. It’s better to do your homework before you download anything.
