This tutorial will show you how to record video on your EasyShare CX7330 and how to upload it to your computer. This is a step by step tutorial, meaning you will be walked through each step. I will first show you how to record the video on your EasyShare CX7330. Then I will show you how to upload the video to your computer. I will also show you how to view the video.

Let’s start off by turning the camera on. If you are using a SD card, go ahead and stick it in before turning it on. Then switch the camera on. Turn the dial to the video icon. It looks like a little video camera. Once you have switched the dial to the video camera, you will see the video icon in the bottom right corner. This means that you have it on video and you are ready to record.

At the top of the screen, you will see how many minutes or seconds you have to record. Go ahead and point the camera to what you want to record. Then press the button on the top. This is the button that you normally press to take a photo. Record your video. When you are ready to stop recording, press the top button again.

If you wish to view the video on the camera, click the OK button on your camera right after you press the button to stop recording. To review videos, press the review button on your camera. Use the arrows to browse through your photos and videos. When you come to a video that you would like to play, click the OK button. That’s it for recording.

Now we will upload the video to your computer. If you were using a SD card, take the card out of your camera and slide it into the slot on your computer. If you were not using a SD card, plug the cord into your camera and then plug the cord into your computer. Give your computer a minute to find the camera. It should pop up a box and ask you what do you want to do with this device. Scroll through the box and find Open Folder or View Folder. Click that option and click OK. That will open a window and you will see two folders if you are using a card or one folder if you are using the camera.

You should see a folder called DCIM. Double click that folder. Then double click the folder in the next window. If you have two folders, you will need to double click each one to see which one has your video. One of the folders will be empty but the other one will have your video. If you click the wrong folder, simply click the back button to go back.

Once you have found where your video is located, click the video one time. Then right click on the video and click Cut. Go to where you want to store it on your computer and paste it. It is best to create a new folder for videos somewhere on your computer. That’s how you record a video and upload it.

If for some reason the window did not pop up when you inserted your card or hooked your camera up, you can open My Computer and double click the removable device. That will open the window with the folders.

To view the video on your computer, double click the video. You will need to use QuickTime to view the videos. Other programs may work with it but I have always used QuickTime. Once the video opens, click the play button and it will play.
