An underlying theme runs through the articles in this channel that I hope is becoming more apparent; that is, producing desktop publishing projects on the cheap. And you cannot get more cheap than free. Dan McGoldrick's ongoing series on free templates you can use for various small business projects is another example of this theme at work. If you have a project coming up and you're not sure where to start, chances are good you'll find great jumping off points in the articles in this series.
