Beach weddings are increasingly popular. The idea of stating your vows against the backdrop of waves lapping the shore and an ocean breeze gently moving your gown seems exceedingly romantic. A beach wedding can be highly affordable, as well, compared to a pricey venue loaded with costly decorations.
You can combine the sweet romance and affordability of a beach wedding by creating your own invitations. If you have access to Microsoft Publisher, making invitations is simple. This is particularly true when you utilize and customize premade templates. The following beach wedding invitation templates are compatible with all current versions of Microsoft Publisher. Download the one you like best and customize it any way you choose.

If you are planning a beach wedding with a casual theme, consider sending your invites in the form of postcards. This postcard template makes two invitations per page. The background is a rich mahogany color with a simply border framing the edges. A single starfish comprises the left side of the card. On the right is a text box including sample text, reading "Together with their families, Deanna Renee Weber and Brian Joseph McGraw request the honor of your presence as they exchange their wedding vows Saturday the 19th of July, Two thousand twelve, Crescent Beach." You can simply replace the names of the example bride and groom as well as the date and location, or you can customize the text using your own invitation wording.

If you prefer a more traditional folding invitation, this template may suit your needs. The front of the card displays a simple white sailboat sailing on deep blue water. A textbox with a sample quote uses white text to stand out against the cobalt blue ocean. The quote reads, "We are the boat, we are the sea, I sail in you, you sail in me - Lorre Wyatt." The right inside panel of this quarter fold template has a text box into which you can enter your invitation details. The sample text reads, "Samantha Ann Davis and Wayne Victor Peak invite you to share in a celebration of love and commitment on Friday, August twelve two thousand fourteen at three o'clock in the afternoon, Sunset Cove." You can replace the quote with your own favorite, change the interior wording and even replace the image on the front of the card, if you desire.

Destination Wedding Invitation
Perhaps you are flying off to a romantic beach at a remote, tropical location for your wedding. Invite guests with an invitation that speaks of your dreamy locale from the first glance. The front of this template shows the entwined hands of a couple on a tropical beach. It also has the following quote by William Shakespeare: “My bounty is as boundless as the sea, my love as deep. The more I give thee, the more I have, For both are infinite.” Inside, the left panel states, "The sea awaits! Come steal away with us." The right panel includes a washed-out background image of a tropical beach with invitation wording in a text box on top of the image.
