Free Candy Wrapper Template: Publisher Downloads
Overview
Specialty retailers sell personalized candy bar wrappers for all sorts of occasions. Chocolate bars bearing the name of the bride and groom are charming wedding favors. Proud new fathers can hand out candy bars announcing, “It’s a Boy (or Girl)!” Custom-wrapped candy bars can be used as business gifts to advertise a company, in place of traditional holiday greeting cards or to raise funds for a school or team. The list of potential uses for personalized candy bar wrappers is virtually endless.
If you have Microsoft Publisher, you can create perfect candy bar wrappers without paying an expensive fee. All you have to do is download a free candy wrapper template. Publisher makes it simple for you to personalize the templates so that they look exactly the way you want them to. The following templates can be used in Publisher 2003, 2007 or 2010.

Wedding Favor Candy Bar Wrapper Template
While the wording of this candy wrapper template makes it ideal to use as a wedding reception favor, you could easily customize it to use for a bridal shower as well. It reads, “Joined today in sweet, wedded bliss” in a font that complements the scrolling floral background. It includes the wedding date, as well. The primary colors of this template are (aptly) chocolate brown and aqua blue, but you can change it to coordinate with the colors of the wedding or the shower theme. To change the brown background, right-click it and select Format Shape. Select any fill color you choose. You can recolor the floral image as well, or replace it with any image you choose.
This template is for a king size chocolate bar and prints one template per page. If desired, you could resize it to fit a standard size chocolate bar. To do so, change the height to 5.5 inches and the width to 5.25 inches.

Baby Announcement Candy Bar Wrapper Template
For the next candy wrapper template, Publisher enables you to produce “It’s a Girl” or “It’s a Boy” candy bars. Although the template boasts a new baby girl, the image is from Microsoft’s clip art collection, which offers the same design with a baby boy.
It reads, "(Baby’s Name) is here!" along with the baby’s date of birth and birth weight. Change it to include different information, such as the names of the new parents or a proud older sibling. You could also alter this template to use as favors for a baby shower.
This template is for a king size chocolate bar and prints one template per page. If desired, you could resize it to fit a standard size chocolate bar. To do so, change the height to 5.5 inches and the width to 5.25 inches.

Candy Bar Wrapper Template for Business
What better way is there to generate positive feelings about your business than by giving chocolate to current and potential clients and customers?
This template has an image of friendly professionals on the front of the bar along with the words, “We think it would be “SWEET” if you bought your next car from Elmway Ford!” The back displays the business name, website and phone number. Customize it by putting your picture or logo on the front along with a catchy phrase, and your contact information on the back. Hand them out at events such as open houses, conventions or sales calls.
Alternatively, you could customize this template to sell candy bars for a school, group or team fundraiser.
