Four Free Baby Shower Fonts

If there is a font perfect for a baby shower, Baby! is it. These letters show all the trouble a new baby can get into, from squeezing all the toothpaste out of the tube (B) to getting dinner everywhere (M). Each letter is a little cartoon, and while the typeface isn't the easiest to read in the world, it can add a humorous touch to any project. It isn't very useful for text, but it can be perfect for titles.

With a little tyke on the way, adding a few toys to your desktop publishing projects can be appropriate. Baby Blocks offers up a fun font that is still a little more subtle than other baby shower fonts. While the upper and lowercase letters are both the same size in this font, the capital letters have black letterforms on a white background while the lowercase letterforms are white on a black background.  Both are pleasing to the eye.

Rather than setting your whole project in a hard-to-read decorative font, you might consider adding just a hint of celebration with a small image. Baby Time, a dingbat font, has quite a few babies, pacifiers, storks and other baby shower images perfect for cheering up an invitation or announcement. You can use these dingbats in the same way you might use a font.

Another dingbat font full of baby shower imagery is Baby's World. The pictures in this set of dingbats are a little more closely matched than in other choices and are also a little more stylized.
