What's a big Thanksgiving dinner without all of the little touches like place cards and menus? You can put together all sorts of special touches for your Thanksgiving festivities this year on your own, and these four free holiday fonts can help.

    Turkey Time

Try highlighting the important parts of invitations and other Thanksgiving cards with Turkey Time: this typeface has white letterforms on stylized turkeys marching across your page. It's a title font only, offering only capital letters for your use. It does get the Thanksgiving message across quickly, though.

    Party Hats

When Thanksgiving rolls around, you need a party hat with a buckle on the front. Luckily, the Party Hats font has you covered. This font does offer both capital and lowercase letters — the uppercase letters are white on the background of a Pilgrim's hat. The lowercase letters are actually larger, with small hats decorating them. The uppercase letters are not particularly legible, unfortunately, but the lowercase letters are suitable for titles and and other projects.

You may need a few feathers to go along with your Pilgrims' hats, just to keep your Thanksgiving table balanced. EDB Indians has letters wearing feathers and a few other decorations. While the upper and lowercase versions are the same size, the lowercase letters are white, while the capital letters are black. While the black version seems easier to read, both can be used to highlight key phrases in your Thanksgiving projects.

    Touchdown

You can't have Thanksgiving without football. Touchdown will come in handy if you're planning to watch the game after dinner. This font has both capital letters and lowercase letters, but it isn't a complete font. It can be a little illegible if used for big blocks of text — instead, it's great for just small touches on your Thanksgiving cards.

    More Free Thanksgiving Fonts

If these fonts aren't quite right for your Thanksgiving projects, there are many other fonts you can download for free. Thanksgiving fonts are often categorized as 'Fall' or even 'Halloween' fonts, but sites like Holiday Joys and Wonder Fonts offer good selections. Most sites offer versions suitable for either Macintosh or WIndows computers.
