I just finished reading this article on how to pick the best computer monitor for digital imaging.
Towards the end of the article, it mentions calibrating your monitor if the colours start to look “off”, rather than returning it to the shop.
A few months ago, my husband’s computer screen was looking distorted and “blotchy” and we figured it was on its way out. Just before we took a trip into town to buy him a new one, my husband moved his computer speakers while dusting (yeah, my husband does housework – how lucky am I?) and low and behold, the computer monitor was like new!
Just something to keep in mind!
