  • What have you done with all your old photos?

Have you converted them to digital images? Are they still stuck in an old photo album, crying to be preserved? Are all your old photos from before the time of digital cameras sitting in boxes unorganized? Have you spent hours scrapbooking and journaling?

What have you done with all your photos from the past?

Mine are still in photo albums.  What's worse, is before I got really interested in photography, I didn't bother keeping the negatives.  After all, I already had the pictures and getting any sort of re-print was really expensive.  Some day I'll have to take on the scanning project and hope for the best.

"Did you know that old photo albums – the ones that your family photos are seemingly stuck forever in – contain destructive glues and chemicals, such as acid, which can damage photos over time?"

Ouch! Maybe your "someday" should become one day soon!Stick out tongue

The above quote was taken from an article I wrote that touches on the topic of scanners and the benefits of using a scanner to create digital copies of your photos. Check it out: Scanning Photographs - Creating Digital Photos without a Digital Camera
