Just wondering what makes people the shutter bugs that they are. What's your favourite subject to shoot? How about least favourite, or most difficult?
For me, I love capturing emotions and expressions: laughing, surprise, sleepy...my main focal points usually consist of my critters, family and the scenery which surrounds me in Gold River (or wherever I am).
I find the most challenging photographs to take are of wildlife. It's difficult to fully prepare yourself for when a bear, elk or cougar decides to make an appearance and by the time I have my camera out and ready, they are often pouncing off into the bush - leaving me with more butt shots than I care to admit! As well, having a 95 lb. Labrador with me who thinks he owns the forest makes it a challenge when he's off chasing whatever there is to chase!
