I love photography. I got my first digital camera just before a trip to Disneyland in 2003 and I've been hooked ever since. Here is a recent shot I took up at Horne Lake. A young raccoon was sleeping the day away in a tree and he just looked too cute!

Hi Terri, welcome to the digital photography forum!

That is such a cute photo! He looks exhausted! I haven't been to Horne Lake in years. The last time I was there, I was camping as a child and got a real nasty case of swimmer's itch! Oh, it was horrible!

  • Hi - New Guy!

Hi, everyone.  My name is Brian Nelson, and I'm a new writer here on the Digital Photography channel.  I just submitted my first article (Using Aperture Priority Mode).  I hope to be able to provide a lot of insight from the prosumer perspective.  Thanks to a supporting wife, I'm already running my own business from home, and she'd crack me over the head with a mallet if I tried to start a photography business too! Smile  But, I'm a serious photographer and hope to do it professionally soon!

I'm mostly about portraits and other people based photography.  I like the challenge of capturing something about the person or the moment on film.  I'm not so good at the shoot in the hustle and bustle type photography, so don't expect to see much from me on stuff like wedding photography or journalism photography.

I look forward to having a lot of fun here.

In the meantime, if you need any professional writing done or business / management consulting that is based on hard data and processes (not on the usual theroy), then please drop by my business at www.arcticllama.com or shoot me an email at brianllama <AT> arcticllama <DOT GOES HERE> com.  Otherwise, I look forwared to meeting all of you.

Hi everyone! I'm Arnold Zafra, tech writer from Manila, Philippines (that's somewhere in Asia in case you didn't know). It's my second month here (I think) in DP Channel. But I've been writing for other BH channels for several months now. I'm a corporate worker at day and freelance blogger at night, "side-working" as an event photographer from time to time.

I mostly do event photography, being the official photographer of our company's newsletter plus some travel photography whenever I find the chance.

You can find my unedited photos at http://flickr.com/arnoldzafra, it's my online dumping ground for all my digital photos.=)

    Regards to all!

    Hiya,

New writer on the Digital Photography Channel. I am still learning where everything is on Bright Hub. I have been enjoying reading everyone's work here. I look forward to talking more with everyone here.

I am a professional Photojournalist/Photographer doing a variety of work these days. Photography is such a huge field and it is expanding and changing every day. Should keep us busy for quite some time.

I love the squirrel picture. Haven't checked out the Panda yet, but I will.

I just found this website of Jason Bell's. It is beautiful, worth taking a look at. http://www.jasonbellphoto.com/#/photographer/Jason%20Bell/Celebrities/

Nice to meet all of you.
