William Claxton, Famous Photographer, Dies from Heart Complications

The New York Times tells it best, “Mr. Claxton’s work was ubiquitous, from movie posters to picture magazines to fashion spreads to more than a dozen books to many exhibitions in the United States and Europe. He captured the greats of jazz from Ellington to Monk and made indelible images of pop stars from Sinatra to Bob Dylan and movie stars from Dietrich to Monroe to Natalie Wood.”
