If you're constantly worried about what your children are doing with their phones, such as the calls their making, the programs their accessing and the websites their visiting, you can now take control of your worries and ultimately your child's phone thanks to Mobile Nanny Pro.

Introduction

Mobile Nanny Pro is a fully featured monitoring system for Windows Mobile. Using the program parents or bosses can monitor SMS and MMS messages, filter application use and allowable websites and even create time use restrictions so devices can only be used at certain times. Phones can even be set to only allow calls and text messages to certain numbers set by the program admin.

The program also offers some other features that you'll wonder how you ever lived without. Keep reading to learn more about this great monitoring application.

Overall Use
Rating Excellent

Using Mobile Nanny Pro couldn't be any more simple, users start by choosing what restrictions or monitoring they want to apply to the phone in question. These options include "application filters, block list contacts, time restrictions and website filters."

Mobile Nanny Pro Optiosn Menu

I liked that configuring each option was so easy, as was checking out call and use logs for each section thanks to optimized navigation screens for Smartphone use and with the help of online access.

I started by setting phone numbers which I wanted to restrict from calling. I simply entered in the number I wanted to restrict calls in and out for and then whether SMS messages could be sent or received from those same numbers on the users phone. The screen is displayed in list format which makes adding and perusing numbers simple.

The application is also very simple to use. To restrict certain applications just click on their .EXE file from within the program. Executable files are all displayed from within the programs main restriction screen which basically means you don't have to do a ton of searching.

Mobile Nanny Pro also allowed me to set two types of calling restrictions. The first restriction stops all phone functions from working during the times specified, while the other option just stops "phone call use" but not the rest of the phones uses.

Mobile Nanny Pro - Time Restriction Section

If you're more worried about monitoring where your children or employees have been located the program does offer an online portal that not only shows call and website use, but also latitidue and longitude points and the date with time they were taken. Users can even click on the "MAP" location in order to find where the phone was located at that time.

Mobile Nanny Pro - GPS Tracking Screen

I also enjoyed the "remote monitor" features of the application. For example, I could set an alert that would send me an SMS message if the SIM Card was changed. This option allowed me to continually monitor my device even if it was stolen and used for another persons phone number with their sim card.

You'll notice on the last screenshot I provided that you can monitor more than just GPS from the companies online portal, you can also check out SMS and Phone calls and even clear logs if everything looks good to you and you want to make sure the monitoring application doesn't become too "crowded" to fully manage.

Conclusion

Mobile Nanny Pro is not cheap to use at $80 annually. However given many monitoring programs offered directly from carriers charge $9.99 per month or more the cost is actually very respectable. This program also includes many more types of monitoring and device filtering abilities that most carrier programs faily to match.

Overall a very good program that can be purchased from the Mobile Nanny Pro website and if you want to monitor your children or employees I highly recommend you give it a try on your Windows Mobile device today.
