This guide is for the Western Europe version, so you need a minimum of 2 GB free in your memory card. The program begins installation after formatting the memory card, and then all the data and maps are transferred to the memory card.
The installation DVD comes with an image file, which you can copy on to the memory card and the application will automatically get installed after rebooting the phone.

The first time you run the application, you will notice a globe rotating, and after a few seconds, either your previous position or your current position will be displayed on the screen. There is no option to remove the startup screen and after a period of time, you will get habitual to it.
Before you can use the application, you will need to activate it by providing the activation code that can be found inside the DVD box. The activation is done either through SMS or through GPRS, so you must make sure that the application is not turned off during the activation process. The activation process is very simple and takes about 2-3 minutes only. After the pruduct is activated you can use all the features of the application.
