The smartphone wars have really hottened up with the release of the
iPhone 3G S, the Palm Pre and several Android based phones recently. The percentage share of Nokia is dropping rapidly, but it still is the market leader in the smartphone segment. It has released some really good phones in the past month is various price ranges in an attempt to regain its lost glory.
The 5630 XpressMusic is aimed at the lower end of the smartphone market. It is priced quite competitively at about $300 and provides a slew of features. Being an XpressMusic phone, it is very good in the music department as well. It is powered by the latest iteration of the Symbian OS 9.3 with FP2 and has a very fast processor with a nice amount of RAM. The 3.15 MP camera is basic but the music capabilities are very nice. In this review, I check out the Nokia 5630 XpressMusic and write about my impressions of the phone in detail.
