Last, and perhaps the least, there is Nokia’s own browser. Initially there was a S40 edition, which has now been upgraded to a S60 edition. It needs no introduction as it is bundled with the hardware. The browser has the basic features of the other mobiles: rendering of websites in HTML format, extensive
bookmarking and intuitive navigation. Nokia’s browser does not have the option of tabs, although it is possible to have more than one instance of the browser. The back function is particularly interesting, where miniature images of the browsing history are displayed for selection. This is a serious time-saver in a browser that takes almost forever to load.
