QuickSpell is simple to play, partly because the premise is very simple to understand and also because the interface offers the type of clean lines and font choices that have made WebOS applications so enjoyable to use and even just look at. If you like word games, especially ones that challenge you with timers and bonus levels that can be achieved you'll love this game.

As I already mentioned the game offers intuitive and well designed menus. For example the main screen offers only three options: New Game, Continue and Help. The continue option can be used if you need to exit a game at any point and you want to continue where you left off, whereas the help screen shows you exactly how to play the game.
The gameplay level is just as simple to use as the main menu screen. Users are provided with 25 random letters, each of which are large enough to be easily touched without "fat fingering" alternative letters. While entered letters are easily seen at the top of the screen followed by the "timer" option so I could easily see how much time I had in each level.
Each puzzle includes several letters that are already entered into the top part of the screen, users must then figure out what letters they can add to the six letter word in order to form a completed word, it's that simple.
After a level is completed QuickSpell then provides that levels scoring practices. For example the program displays your puzzle multiplier score, time remaining score, help score and you're total score. It also gets slightly educational by providing users with the definition for the six letter word the created. Finish looking at your score and the word definition and you get to click on "Next Puzzle" to move onto the next six letter word.
Finally, once you lose a game or finish the 26 puzzles that are currently available (more puzzles will be available in future releases) you will see your final score and a large button so you can head back to the "main menu" and start over again.
QuickSpell for WebOS is a simple to play word puzzler, just find one of the 16,000 available six letters words and find them as quickly as possible in order to move onto the next level. Try to beat the high scores you and your friends have racked up and you'll end up at the top of the high score list.
I really enjoyed the ease of use, including large icons and intuitive gameplay that the game offered and if you like word puzzlers I recommend you give this free application a try.
Currently QuickSpell is free via the Repository, which you can access by installing the PreWare Application on your WebOS based device.
