With a well built and effective interface, real time updates and even WhatTheTrend integration the TweeFree application is a great way to stay fully updated with your Twitter account.

The developers of this application kept the overall design close to the true nature of the Twitter.com website, minus their dark background. For example, when logged into your account you can view the "timeline" option which shows all of your friends Tweets. This is personally my favorite part of the application, partly because it's setup for easy reading, but mostly because the app allows me to search by "Nearby Tweets" which ads a nice geo-targeted aspect to the program.
While typically I'm not a big fan of black backgrounds I found that the colors used on the application made the fonts easy to read and photos and other information really "popped" out at me when navigating all the various screens available on the program.
You'll also notice from that screenshot that the program offers quick access to the rest of the programs features right from the bottom of the screen. The buttons were all large enough to avoid "fat fingering" and when in portrait mode more options can be scrolled through.
The program also offers the ability to only view your "Favorite" user selections. This option shows the user, their image, their message and the date the message was created on. If you want to save a users messages for later use, perhaps to reply to their comments at a later time, this is a great way to accomplish that goal.
The application also allows for messages to be sent and received, just as you can on the offical Twitter website, while also giving users the ability to Search twitter for infromation and even choose a specific users and load "Twitter Trends" all from the bottom options buttons.
If you're like me and you tend to type long messages with long URL's there's also no need to worry as the program is integrated with the Twitturly, a program which tracks URL's on twitter and lets you know by that tracking what users are talkinga about. If you're a blogger like myself it's a great way to find new stories to read and write about.
TweeFree is now officially available via the App Catalog and it's well worth the time it takes to download (about 20 seconds). The program offers simple to navigate Twitter menus with a full list of functions, some of which you won't even find on the Twitter.com website.
Whether you're a serious web marketer looking for Trending on the go or you just want to favorite your friends while sending the occasional Tweets, this application is a great option and a must have download.
