The NASA App for iPhone provides fast, direct access to a treasure throve of accurate and up-to-date information about NASA's space mission contents right on your iPhone anytime and anywhere. The app takes full use of the iPhone's features to provide a great interface that will surely entice you to use the app.
The first time you fire up the applications you will be greeted by a scrolling list of NASA's current missions complete with high-res images of space satellites, space stations and other cool images. Tapping on each of the mission gives you a brief description of the mission. If the mission has not been completed, you will see a countdown clock at the bottom of the screen specifying how many days more before the mission is completed.
Right on that page, you are provided with several navigation menus located at the top of your iPhone's screen. You can access RSS feeds of NASA mission updates, high-res photos and high-quality videos of different NASA space stations and satellite ships and an email link if you want to share the information to your friends and family via email.
You'll also get those menus if you go back to the app's main screen. In addition to these menu options you can also find two other options - search and filter. Search lets you search for specific information using keywords, while the Filter option lets you browse through categorized information including Earth, Launch Schedules, Moon and Mars, Solar System, Station, Shuttle & Constellation and Universe.
NASA App for iPhone is a robust information-rich application that caters to specific audience. But knowing how techno-savvy iPhone users are, majority of them would want to have this application.
