This app was inspired by the statement - "The best camera is the one that's with you." So, if you happen to always bring your iPhone with you, naturally it could be the best camera that you could use to take great photos. The app lets you shoot, enhance and share.
The shoot option lets you take a new photo or use an existing photo from your iPhone camera roll to enhance and add special effects to them. The share option lets you share the photos you've taken and enhanced via various social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook as well as an attachment to a new email. Now, the main feature of this app is the enhance option, which allows you to add filters/effects to your photos. There are 14 enhancement that you can choose to apply to your photos - Jewel, Paris, Slate, Candy, Light, Dark, Fade, Contrast, Warm, Cool, Desaturate, Vignette, Square and Frame. The last two options are used for cropping your photos into a square and framing.
What's good about these filters and effects is that you can stack them to create your very own unique photo effects. The fact that you can apply these option with just a tap of an icon is simply amazing.
One last option that you should know is the Settings. Here you can set a simple workflow to make your photo editing chores easier. You can set the app to open the camera automatically when you launch it, select what to do with the applied effects and the size of your working photo. Your photos could be 480x480, 640x640, 800x800 or 1600x1600.

If there will be an award for the best camera iPhone app, Best Camera would undoubtedly get my vote. It has replaced all the other camera iPhone apps that I've downloaded before. I also stopped using the iPhone's native camera app because of the Best Camera app always gives my iPhone new dimension and life.
Best Camera app is available at the iTunes Apps Store for $2.99. I know it's a little bit expensive, especially since there are free camera iPhone apps available. But hey, this app was created by a photographer with the help of some programmers so you are sure that the app is as good as it can get.
