RE: Best Calendar Apps for iPhone
Is there anything out there as simple as a monthly view that I just just marks off days? I'm trying to track 3 different reoccurring type events. One per day. And can't seem to find anything simple. Would be ideal if I could just tap on a day choose a color and then be able to make a chart or graph comparing all three over the year.

Repeated Events
Dustin, that's just the crummy iCal interface. If you're using a Mac, iCal will let you do what you want by making it repeating monthly and then you get to pick things like the 3rd Wednesday of the month. Unfortunately the calendar app on the phone doesn't offer the same capability. Hence, if you;re using a Mac (and if not you should be) just create the recurring event on your Mac then sync.

Repeated Events
The native Apple Iphone app is fine for me, with one exception. I can not repeat an event on a certain day of the month, unless there is something I'm missing. I need to repeat events on, say, the first Monday and another one on the third Thursday of each month.

To Amber
Hi Amber,
A great way to sync calenders so you both have the same one is to implement Google Calendar and then allow sharing. Hope this helps!

In Need of a Calendar App
I would like to find an app that can sync the same calendar and update appointments accordingly between my phone as well as my husbands! I am a busy mom and this would be a real life saver!

At A Glance Calendar
I recently got hooked on Calendat At-A-Glance app. It gives you all the good, reliable things from the built-in cal app in addition to the ability of copying and moving multiple events at the same time. This is a nice addition to the built-in recurring events option. Plus it has a cool, clock-like view. Worth a buck. Here's a link: http://bit.ly/cJq4Bh

The Voice Calendar
I would also like to add one more Calendar app as it lets you set and hear reminders of your own voice. We call it VoCal - The Voice Calendar app for the iPhone. Visit http://www.facebook.com/gzerovocal to see VoCal in action

Extreme Agenda
Please check out the upcoming Extreme Agenda in the AppStore as well. A full calendar and Task Manager as well, it might be a great alternative using Native Calendar Data with major updates already in the works.. First Version arrives Nov 2010.

Thanks

Calendar Alarm
I'd like to add one more app because it contains a feature that is overlooked in all the other calendar apps: an alert/alarm that rings loud and long.

Calendar Alarm syncs with the standard iPhone Calendar and adds an alarm with a sound of your choice. The only thing you have to do is start or activate the Calendar Alarm app, after you have set your appointments and alerts in your default iPhone Calendar. Built on top of the system calendar database ensures Calendar Alarm works seamlessly together with all iPhone supported calendars.
