Race or Die Tips; Adding Crew Members by Location

The Godfather's Race or Die for the iPhone and iPod Touch uses a friending system that is somewhat varied. The Race or Die Friend Code is central to adding friends; both in terms of enter other people's Race or Die Friend Codes and making your Race or Die Friend Code available to others.

Besides the Race or Die Friend Code system there is the Location function, that allows you to forgo using Race or Die Friend Codes all together and will show you the Race or Die players in your area. You can then send them a friend request, but you have a limited number to hand out. Here are some tips for adding to your crew using the Race or Die Location function.

The main thing to remember with the Race or Die Location friending system is that you cannot be as liberal as you are with the Race or Die Friend Codes. You are going to be given a limited opportunity to add people. This is to say that in any given twenty-four hour period you only have a fixed amount of invites you can send. This means that you have to itemize and even forgo your invites for a period of time as they can have a rollover quality.

You are not necessarily looking for powerful players, but you are looking for Race or Die players that are actively playing and actually going to add you. The best way to estimate that is by looking to see if they have at least a few Race or Die crew members and that they are a few levels in. If they are many levels in and have a number of Race or Die crew members then this is even better. Try to avoid adding Race or Die players that are in the first few levels and have no Race or Die crew members.

If you are having trouble finding players using the Race or Die Location function then you should try using it in different locations. Try more densely populated sections that are in high socioeconomic areas. This is wise because the population of iPhone users is going to be higher there. Large universities are often the best location to use the Race or Die Location function.
