The first of our best iPhone apps for January 2011 is this cool camera app called gyroCam. Basically, it enhances your iPhone camera by helping you frame a straight shot or automatically level photos in real time as you shoot. Using the iPhone’s gyro and accelerometer, this app frames a level shot from any scene. You can choose from a clip mode that cuts out the level frame or fill mode which zooms the level frame back to full size. gyroCam is great for capturing action scenes, macro, self-portraits, scene composition and situations. Here’s an iPhone app that is simple to use and yet can save you from another parking ticket with just a swipe of your finger. This app helps you find your way back to the car through unique handwritten memo, photo and automatic GPS functions. The app is simple to use as well, just swipe your fingers across the meter to set how long you plan to park and then the app will mark your parking location on the map. When you’re going back to you car, the app will honk you. The honk icon will display the remaining minutes you have before you need to get back to your parked car.
