Requirements and Installation
Installation is available either Over the Air (OTA) via trainlogic.net/wap or for a desktop download via www.trainlogic.net. Note that this desktop download doesn't include any train schedule information which can be picked up once the software gets an internet connection and subscription details.
Trainlogic will apparently run on any BlackBerry device, although you're OS should always be up to date so avoid installing on any handset below at least OS 4.2.
Once up and running, Trainlogic gives you the option to register the software. $7.50 is the price of schedule updates for 6 months - not a bad price given the depth and range of information on offer. This single-user registration is non-transferable but Trainlogic will offer a free additional registration free of charge while the subscription is active.

Trainlogic is certainly a developing service and as such deserves support. The subscription pays for the various train routes and networks to be updated, giving the end user a wealth of live information relevant across the USA.
it is a shame however that the various train networks and companies don't utilise a single publicly-accessible train schedule information service - this at least would enable servcies like Trainlogic to charge less and increase take-up.
The app runs well, and the information is accurate - however it is a shame that it's currently limited to the USA. Schedules for all major companies would be useful, particularly across Europe, Japan and Asia.
