For the 8520 I use Blackberry CDK 4.7, Blackberry jde 4.2.1, Blackberry 4.1.2 and 4.1.4 because I could not fiqure out the correct one (but one of them is correct), and Blackberry simulator 4.6.1. download Java jdk 1.5.0.19 and Java jre 1.5.0.19 from www.java.com most blackberry theme developer sites assume you already are equipped with the java and only give the files that corresond directly with plazmic. Once these are all downloaded and installed then download and install cdk 4.7 update you should be set. You can download free themes that I have designed for the 8520 and free themes that I have collected at www.myblckberry8520.9f.com. I also have the 8520 took me some time to get use to the theme designer and can seem hard but it is extremely easy jsut dont give up on it and if you need any help email me at theme_designer@myblackberry8520.9f.com. If you get the chance to check out my site check out the bluecircle theme I designed I am sure you will be impressed with this theme. Remember with the 8520 when you are trying to find themes for free or purchase that the 8350i themes work on the 8520 also.

I can export just fne but the desktop manager wont lt me load it. It says not conpadable. What do I need t do?

I have a BB 8520 and when I open the theme builder it has the correct resolution fo rthe screen but it doesnt list that model. Do I need to download the update for this? I tried to and the update wont open...

I just got the core software update for 9530 platform and all of my themes i created do not function with the core software that was just loaded onto the platform. My question is there a theme builder that is compatible with the core upgrade software if so how do i obtain this plazmic program.

I would highly recommend that anyone looking to purchase this app contact the developer directly for compatibility questions as most of us writing in the channel, present company included have limited access based on our own devices. However the Plazmic team are usually quick to respond.

Does Plazmic CDK v4.7 work for the BB Curve 8330? Thanks

I have everything going have made a few themes so far but it wont give me the option to make an icon theme. is there a way around this or another download that I need?
