Wasting Time On BlackBerry Is Actually Fun With KaGlom
Free BlackBerry games are always fun because…well, because they’re free to download. But KaGlom is one of those games that’s a joy for other reasons. Besides being free on Blackberry, KaGlom has a tetris-like puzzle style that can keep you occupied and wasting large amounts of time on your BlackBerry.
Of course, we all have tried Brick Breaker, but besides games for purchase, I didn’t really know that actual fun games existed free of charge on the BlackBerry mobile site. I am pleasantly surprised and proud to introduce you to KaGlom if you haven’t already tried it.
KaGlom In A Nutshell
I found the OTA download very easy to grab and KaGlom pretty simple to understand once it was installed (I hate reading directions, so I always try to figure things out on my own first). Pretty much, if you’ve ever played Tetris, KaGlom is a cinch to grasp. It took me until my second game to figure out that clicking the trackball on my BlackBerry Curve will rotate the falling puzzle piece though. Even though it’s the same way in Tetris, I can be a little slow on the uptake sometimes and I think the pretty colors and moving bubbles distracted me. At least that’s the story that I’m sticking to for now.
KaGlom has several different modes for you to play the game in. You can play in a timed attack mode where you need to beat the clock in completing the game. Or you can select different puzzle modes to begin your game in. At the end of any of these, you are invited to publish your scores online (which you can decline if you choose to).
From the main menu at KaGlom, you can also select a “more games” option, which will direct your browser to Bplay.com where you can purchase, download and play more games for your BlackBerry.

I found the free download for KaGlom at mobile.BlackBerry.com where you will also find a few other neat games available for free download. I understand that KaGlom is normally available for purchase, so it’s pretty cool that RIM offers the download for free on their mobile BlackBerry site.
I’ve only just downloaded it, so I can’t very well comment on the memory space KaGlom utilizes. As I always recommend before installing a new download, it’s important to back your device up by using your BlackBerry Desktop Manager first just in case you experience a memory leak or some other threat to your device.
Intense gamers will probably find KaGlom a little too easy for their BlackBerry entertainment. For other “baby gamers” like myself, however, I think you’ll find that KaGlom is a highly entertaining free download to add to your BlackBerry.
