Although I was born in upstate New York, I grew up in Houston and have lived here most of my life. I enjoy writing, reading, and browsing the Internet. I am also interested in disability issues.

I graduated from Houston Baptist University with a double major in psychology and technical writing. My majors improved my understanding of human behavior and differences and further developed my love of writing. I have begun my career with a variety of writing experiences. Working at a nonprofit reading institute, I wrote educational passages for children with reading challenges. Recently, I was a consultant for the state chapter of an organization for employment professionals who work with people with disabilities. I corresponded with current and potential members via e-mail and wrote a monthly online newsletter.
