I was born in Central Pennsylvania and that's alll I'm willing to tell over the Internet. I have written for Suite 101 and Examiner.com. I've also written for other sites that I will not admit to. We all have to get our start somewhere, right?
Suite 101 -- 1 year. Wrote content for the web using strong SEO practices. Covered mostly video games and the newsworthy events that affected the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. (The FLDS website quotes me. I'm not proud of this, but there's nothing I can do about it.) Changes at the site caused me to seek to write for other web sites.
Examiner.com -- November-Present. I cover Williamsport and the Susquehanna Valley. While I enjoy writing for them, the lack of advertising at the moment means I need to find other ways to bring in revenue.
Menus and Merchants -- I write for a local direct mail publication covering restaurants and small businesses. The work is more advertising than jounalism, but it gave me the chance to break into print.
