I am a multitude of things to a variety of people. I am a nurse, (RN) with a Masters in Heathcare Administration and currently working in Clinical Informatics.
I am a mom to three kids; a twenty year old in college and 17 year old twins, one of whom has multiple special needs, physcially and emotionally. I am a wife of 24 years to my highschool sweetheart, having survived 10 years as a Navy wife and now am a gamer widow.
I am also mom to 7 rescue cats and 2 dogs, and when I can scare up the spare time, I write fiction and non-fiction, read both, (Tudor era to the Regency era in England being a favorite) and do various forms of hand embriodery.
RN liscensure
I have been a nurse for almost 10 years. In that time I has done floor nursing (telemetry, med-surg, women's surgical and mother-baby), administration (patient flow, performance improvement and quality), management (two urgent care centers) and now am in IT (clinical informatics) I have a Bachelors of Science in Nursing, a Masters of Science in Healthcare Administration, and am currently deciding where to pick up a post master's certificate for Nursing Informatics.
